I regret that this app had to be removed from the App Store. I was informed by Apple that use of Apple Music API by this app is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines and not appropriate on the App Store.

When I inquired why other apps such as Lyrics View 3 and Camena - Song Lyrics that included the same features as this app were allowed on the App Store, the answer that Apple gave me was, "We can not comment on apps that you do not own." Upon further inquiries, Apple didn't provide any further explanation.


Show the custom lyrics
saved in your Apple Music library

When a song is playing in Apple Music app, this app displays the custom lyrics saved in the local media of the song. As Apple Music app plays the next track, this app automatically displays the lyrics of the next track.

This is particularly useful if you sync your large Apple Music library with lots of custom lyrics.

Please note that this app does not display lyrics of any songs from any streaming services, nor does it retrieve lyrics from the Internet, only the song lyrics saved locally in Apple Music app.

Apple Music app can display lyrics. However, in my own case, it only works for some songs. Somehow, most songs don't show lyrics. I haven't been able to find a fix for this. According to Apple's iPhone User Guide, "Lyrics aren't available for all songs. Viewing lyrics requires Apple Music." Since Apple started the Apple Music service, an Apple Music subscription is required to show lyrics in Apple Music app. Therefore, I wrote this app and have found it very useful for myself.

You can change the font size of the lyrics for the best viewing condition. You can choose from proportional or mono-spaced font. You can choose from black or white background. You can align lyrics to left, center or right. You can view in portrait mode or in landscape mode.
